Ladies Pioneer Dress-
with bonnet and apron.
This dress is
reminiscent of pioneer
days, with a yoke.
Most ladies in the
wilderness or on the
prairie didn't have
more than one or two
dresses, so these
items were used for
nightgowns, maternity
wear and daily wear.
Constructed much like
a nightgown. Very full
with no waistband. The
front closure has antler
buttons.
The dress falls to the
ankles. Wrist has
elastic sewn in for
comfort. Made from a
light weight 80/20
gingham.
The bonnet and apron
are made from
bleached muslin with
ties attached.
